Adelaide United and COVID-19 update

Dear members and fans,

Football Federation Australia (FFA) have this morning confirmed the remainder of the Hyundai A-League season will be played behind closed doors. This decision has been made in accordance with Federal Government’s mandate for all non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people to be cancelled.

The current situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) is unprecedented for the broader community, let alone for professional sporting clubs. As such, we ask members and fans to be patient as we work through what this means for Adelaide United for the remainder of the season.

The Club continues to heed professional advice from Government authorities, FFA, and our own medical staff to ensure the well-being of members, fans, players, coaches, staff is respected and maintained.

Accordingly, our administration staff have been provided the opportunity to work from home and measures have been put in-place to ensure the safety of all our players.

During this period, our Club Store in Hindmarsh will be closed, however regular updates will be provided to you via email and our social media channels.

If you have any further queries, please email us at info@aufc.com.au

I want to thank you for your support and understanding and hope you all remain safe and well during this time.

Yours sincerely,

Nathan Kosmina
Chief Executive Officer
