Ahead of Adelaide United’s massive AFC Champions League encounter with Jiangsu Suning at Hindmarsh Stadium, Opta has provided some of the key statistics for the clash.
The Reds must win their final Group H match and rely on Gamba Osaka taking points off Jeju United if Guillermo Amor’s men are to reach the knockout stages for a fourth time.
It is the pair’s second meeting after Jiangsu triumphed 2-1 in China on matchday two.
Adelaide have so far scored 10 goals in this year’s Asian Champions League group stage, surpassing their previous best of nine set in both the 2007 and 2008 campaigns.
Adelaide have never beaten a Chinese side on home soil and will be determined that statistic changes on Tuesday.
As for Jiangsu, the match will be their first ever game in Australia.
Sergio Cirio was instrumental in United’s last outing against Gamba. The Spaniard scored one goal, boasted a passing accuracy rate of 81% and won eight of his 13 duels.
Isaias was immense in the middle of the park for Adelaide – successful in four of his seven duels and made four clearances and three interceptions versus the Osaka based outfit.
