Our four part Christmas Crackers series continues with another look at three stunning goals scored by the Reds in the month of December.

Here are three more tantalising goals scored in the festive season. Which one is your favourite from the options below?

Fábio Ferreira scores with the outside of his foot vs Melbourne Victory – 07/12/12 @ Hindmarsh Stadium

The Portuguese winger rarely scored a bad goal and his strike against the arch enemy was no exception. Marcelo Carrusca expertly flicked on a quick throw-in which opened up space for Ferreira, who had the presence of mind to curl his shot with the outside of his right foot and beyond Nathan Coe.

Pablo Sánchez’s audacious lob vs Perth Glory – 06/12/15 @ Coopers Stadium

Winless from the opening eight rounds to begin the season, Adelaide’s season was hanging by a thread. So any goal which single-handedly contributed to sealing three points would be vital. However, not only was Pablo Sánchez’s crucial it was also well taken. The Spaniard broke the deadlock inside two minutes into Adelaide’s Round 9 clash against the Glory. A defensive mix-up involving Antony Golec saw Michael Marrone’s aerial through ball find Sánchez, who cleverly chipped the ball over the onrushing Ante Covic. That goal and 1-0 win sparked a 14-match unbeaten run as the Reds marched to an historic Premiership and Championship double.

Henrique’s stunning piledriver vs Wellington Phoenix – 04/12/16 @ Coopers Stadium

After unleashing a scorching hit on his weaker foot to put the Reds ahead, Henrique was at it again 13 minutes later with a rehearsed routine straight off the training track. Instead of crossing a free-kick into the area Isaías, squared his pass to the top of the box to the unmarked Brazilian. The ‘Slippery Fish’ did not need a second invitation to shoot and he rifled his effort a bit below the top right corner giving Adelaide their first victory of the campaign.
