Aurelio Vidmar's prestigious senior career started at Adelaide City, where he played for seven seasons in the NSL before moving abroad for eight years. In 1994/95 at Standard Liege he was Belgium's top scorer, with 22 goals for the season. He was voted Oceania's player of the year in 1995. In a senior club career spanning 20 years, he played over 500 national league matches and scored over 120 league goals in six different countries.
